Glenfiddich – The Spirit of a Pioneer

In 1886, William Grant set out to fulfill his long held dream of creating “the best dram in the valley.” He rolled up his sleeves, set to work and within a year he had built his Speyside distillery stone by stone in the glen of Fiddich, Gaelic for “the valley of the deer.” The first spirit flowed from the stills on Christmas Day of 1887. As the pioneers of single malt whiskies worldwide, they’re proud to say they’ve stayed true to William Grant’s spirit.

Today, their independent distillery offers a unique range of what has become the world’s most awarded single malt.*
